Imvi Labs is further developing our app to also be able to train out complex strabismus problems. This can help people with consensus problem due to stroke, brain trauma, or congenital conditions.
Imvi is currently training reading skills through a VR app. The app allows the user to watch content of their choice from SVT Play or YouTube, among other places.

With the new functionality, Imvi Labs is targeting the healthcare sector. There, their VR training can become a valuable tool for opticians, optometrists and orthoptists. Thanks to Region Skåne's business development check, Imvi Labs is further developing its app and product, and can work in parallel with its core business within reading training . This saves time and enables a faster launch. There is already interest among optician chains and a waiting list of customers ready to test the new product.
In the short term, Imvi Labs is focused on developing and testing the new functionality. The goal is to complete studies in the summer of 2025. In the longer term, we plan to launch the product on the market, with a strategy to integrate ourselves into reimbursement systems and insurances both in Sweden and internationally. The new product is intended to meet a new market segment with high value and a greater focus on care.
