Imvi Labs recently had the honor of hosting school leaders from Gunma Prefecture in Japan, who were invited by the Malmö Primary Education Department. Our Chief Evangelist, Erik Kayser, explained how Imvi's eye coordination training can facilitate reading and thereby strengthen both academic results and school attendance.
According to the National Agency for Special Needs Education and Schools (SPSM), studies show that interventions which increase literacy and academic results can also contribute to an improved school climate and higher attendance. Good reading ability is crucial for academic success and participation in society – and a positive learning environment, adapted to students' needs, further promotes attendance.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences between Sweden and Japan on how we can support more students in succeeding at school.
