VR-based program, developed with researchers at Karolinska Institutet, is now available locally in Tartu and Tallinn.
MALMÖ / TARTU — 26 August 2025
Imvi Labs and Silmatark today announce a collaboration to make binocular-vision training available to people in Estonia. The Imvi program is VR-based and developed in collaboration with researchers at Karolinska Institutet. Training is simple: 15 minutes a day, 4 days a week, for 12 weeks.
The approach is designed to support people who experience double vision, eye strain or headaches during near work; many also report more comfortable reading.
“Our goal is to make reliable, structured training easy to access,” said Peter Carlsson, Co-Founder & CEO, Imvi Labs. “Partnering with Silmatark enables local assessments, guidance and follow-up in Estonia.”
Silmatark is the only optometry centre in Estonia dedicated to binocular-vision training, with clinics in Tartu and Tallinn.
