Last Friday, Imvi Labs visited Friskolan Hästens. in Farsta again.
There, an entire class in grade 3 has trained for 12 weeks with our patented VR training during the fall semester. In addition, ten selected students in grades 4 and 5 have also trained as they are assessed to have reading difficulties.
The whole class has received great results and everyone has increased their reading speed! The reading test consists of three parts and on the part that most resembles regular reading, the students made the following improvements:
- Average for all students: +145%
- For the 5 students who had vision problems at the start: +187%
- For the 13 students who did not have vision problems at the start: +129%
- For the 10 students who were above the class average in reading speed at the start: +61%
- For the 8 students who were below the class average in reading speed at the start: +250%
One of the students talks about how he experiences the difference after training with VR:
“Now I can read faster. When I read a word now, I can already see the next word… I didn’t do that before. I have better reading fluency now. I had fluency before but not as good. Now it’s easier to concentrate and I can also write faster.”
Everyone said they found the training easy and fun!
