Is your child having trouble staying motivated during training? Here are three tips to help you and your child stay motivated throughout the entire training session.
1. Create a fun and supportive training environment for your child's motivation
A fun and supportive training environment is important to increase children's motivation to exercise. Make sure that training does not become negative or forced. Instead, it should be fun and relaxing, where the child feels safe. Provide regular praise and encouragement for their efforts and progress. Create a community where the child can train together with siblings or a parent, which can make training more social and fun.
2. Set goals to maintain motivation
It is easier for children to stay motivated when they have specific goals to strive for. You can set milestones and reward your child with something they enjoy when they reach these goals. It is exciting and fun for your child to be able to see how the goal is getting closer after each training session.
3. Schedule and document your training
Create a schedule and mark each completed workout. You can of course track your workout in the app, but it may be easier to be able to mark off after you finish your workout yourself. Buy some nice stickers and make it a fun activity where the child gets to choose a sticker and mark the workout on the schedule.
Download Imvi's own training schedule and print it out. Put it on the fridge and follow along to see how it goes. Good luck!
