Hi, my name is Benny Andersson and I am “Intern-Benny” at Imvi Labs.
I am studying web development with a focus on e-commerce at Grit Academy in Malmö, and I have also studied SEO and digital marketing as part of my education.
Since I have always had problems reading quickly and concentrating on texts, I took the opportunity to test Imvi Labs' training during my internship.
In this blog post I will tell you about my experience with the training.
What is Imvi Labs training and how does it work?
Imvi Labs, in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet, has developed a training method via VR that trains eye coordination, which in turn improves both reading speed and concentration skills.
The training simply involves watching any streamed content from, for example, YouTube or SVT Play in your VR glasses. Read more about the results of the training at the bottom of the page.

Why Imvi Labs?
I had heard about Imvi Labs' research and how their training can help people with reading difficulties, dyslexia, ADHD and coordination problems. I think this is important!
What can Intern-Benny offer Imvi Labs?
I have the opportunity to contribute my knowledge in web development and SEO to the company.
Previously, I have worked in many different industries and in different roles. Here you can find me on LinkedIn .
That's why I also find it fun to help Peter, our CEO, find new ideas for continued growth.
What does Intern Benny do during working hours?
To get started with the work here, I have had good help from Jens Hagert, who is Growth Manager at the company.
I'm SEO-optimizing the existing website. In addition to trying to increase organic traffic, I'm updating social media and trying to get into paid social. I also have plenty of time to learn Ahrefs SEO tools and Google Analytics.
What was it like to start training?
Before you can start training, you do a couple of different tests so that you can measure the progress you are making.
The app helps and clearly guides you how to do this. Everything from measuring the distance between my pupils to calibrating the image to find the right settings for my eyes.
What can you watch during training?
The first week it is important to look at still images. This is to get your eyes used to the training. During these four occasions, I looked at funny animal pictures. It is after the first week that the fun begins, because then you can start training for moving material.
Right now I'm watching a documentary on SVT called " Stalker ". This series is really exciting and worth watching!
Since I'm going to be training four days a week for twelve weeks, it's good to have something fun to look forward to. Considering that you can choose between the offerings on both Youtube and SVT Play, there are plenty of options.
