Imvi Labs and Binogi collaborate to strengthen reading training

Imvi Labs och Binogi i samarbete för stärkt lästräning

Binogi provides short educational films that are based on storytelling and capture the viewer's interest. All developed evidence-based by the Language Project. Imvi Labs has, together with Karolinska Institutet, developed a training for brain-eye coordination that improves reading and concentration skills. Together we can now create a learning experience that improves eye coordination, reading speed and subject knowledge in a pleasurable way.

This summer, Binogis Maria Henriksson and Imvi Labs Peter Carlsson met in Almedalen when Peter had a seminar about Imvi's training with VR. They were brought together by a mutual friend and wise special educator Johanna Lindgren Chin, who runs the Instagram account special_teacher_in_school and whose daughter has benefited greatly from Imvi Labs training, a training that trains reading speed with video but without practicing with either letters or text.

Johanna says: “In my profession, I have never before encountered such effective reading training as Imvis, and combining that training with Binogi's educational films was an unbeatable combination for me, where knowledge-filled film meets reading speed training. What teacher or parent could say no to that concept?”

Once again, regional manager Maria Henriksson emphasizes the importance of collaboration to support the end user, the student. “When I meet someone who is equally passionate about education and development, something happens in me and I immediately start thinking about what we can do together,” says Maria. When it is also evidence-based with solid research behind it, the matter is clear, then collaboration feels a given.

The collaboration involves Imvi Labs allowing students who are training their eye coordination to also train with Binogi's films. This way, they can simultaneously acquire subject knowledge that follows the curriculum and improve their reading and concentration skills. Motivating content is absolutely central to the best results. That's why it's so inspiring to be able to offer students training with Binogi's films, says Imvi Labs CEO Peter Carlsson.

We look forward to sharing the viewer's experience and providing opportunities for deeper collaboration in the future.

This is how our training works:

Stream your favorite series in VR

Train easily by watching content via the Imvis app.

Workout while streaming your favorite shows

Through the app you choose what type of content you want to watch. We currently support content from Youtube, SVT Play, Binogi, UR Play and content directly from your phone's camera roll.

Train your consensus

The app makes the image swing from right to left, but you perceive it as an image.

You watch series -
Our App does the rest

The training focuses on improving the brain's control of the eyes for better eye coordination. This improves blood flow and oxygenation of the brain, which increases reading speed, reading endurance and concentration.

Follow your progress

In the app you can easily follow your progress and get tips for continued training.

Personalized tips based on your progress

In the app you can follow your or your children's development and results. We offer free accounts for parents to monitor their children's progress! After completing the training, you will receive personal recommendations for further training based on your results and progress.
